Autosport International 2009

9 01 2009

Every year the Autosport International show takes over Birmingham’s NEC Arena, playing host to Europe’s largest Motorsport event – think SEMA, but for us brits instead. Despite credit crunch madness and a decline in the motorsport sector the Autosport show still put on a strong display with hundreds of tuners and manufacturers on display including Ford, Subaru, Recaro and many more.

E30 M3-powered Evo

9 01 2009

Norway seems to be home to some of the craziest bastards around, including this monster RWD Evo 6 powered by a turbocharged, 585bhp BMW M3 lump from the old E30! The 2.3-litre 4-cylinder lump features a Turbonetics T60 turbo alongside forged internals and Autronic engine management, while the transmission uses the E30 M3 5-speed box delivering power to the rear wheels only.

KDM – Korean Domestic Market?

9 01 2009

We’re all familiar with the JDM and USDM terms, but how’s about this for a slice of Korean Domestic Market instead – a properly cool Hyundai Coupe. With the right colour, a decent set of Volk TE37s and token slammage the humble Hyundai looks more like a Nissan S15. Admittedly being FWD it’s a little gay, but the new turbocharged, RWD Coupe version for 09 should sort that out.
